Six-piece Edward VII/George V Silver Tea and Coffee Service, maker's mark S. B. & S., Ltd., retailed by Shreve, Crump & Low, comprising five pieces Birmingham: coffeepot 1908, creamer and covered sugar 1923, waste bowl 1922, teapot 1924, and a matching London kettle on stand, 1904, with associated Gorham burner, all pieces George III-style with shaped ovoid bodies, and bright-cut guilloche and feather scroll neck bands, coffeepot ht. 8 1/2 in., approx. 101 troy oz. total. teapot: pinpoint dent off center of monogrammed roundel. both teapot and coffeepot missing a section of the finial, so finial sets atop lid somewhat awkwardly. creamer: light base ding, and a few very light pinpoints. covered sugar: light ding to unmonogrammed roundel. waste bowl: light ding to one side of monogrammed roundel, and a dent to back panel. kettle: burner by Gorham (associated). light pinpoint to monogrammed side, light ding to other side. all with some light usage wear.
