LOUIS XVI MARBLE TOP MARQUETRY INLAY COMMODE, C1800, H 33", W 35", D 16":carved in wood "EARDIN" on top right front corner of piece; having two drawers with top drawer having velvet lined flat ware compartments; marquetry inlay on both sides and serpentine front; gray marble contoured top with red and white highlights; bronze ormolu drawer pulls, key bezels, trim on upper front corners and bottom of cabriolet legs. Fine joinery; key latch on top drawer only, latch on bottom drawer missing, no key.
