Louis XVI Marble-top, Ormolu-mounted, and Kingwood-veneered Commode, France, late 18th century, marble top with rounded edges, two short and two long drawers, curved front corners, figural pulls, ht. 33, wd. 50 1/2, dp. 23 1/2 in. Estimate $1,000-1,500 Marble old but probably a later replacement, pulls possibly replaced. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
