Two Pennsylvania painted Dutch cupboards dated 1821 and signed "John Will Carpenter" , each with 2 cupboard doors over 4 candle drawers and pie shelf, resting on a lower section with 2 drawers and cupboard door, supported by ogee bracket feet, 81 1/2" h. , 31" w. These 2 cupboards were originally one piece. They were probably separated, ca. 1850, when the faux maple surface was painted.
