CARY'S NEW TERRESTRIAL & CELESTIAL GLOBES, EARLY 19TH C. , TWO, H 36" W 18", ENGLISH: Two Cary globes, mounted in Regency style mahogany vase shaped pedestals; includes one Terrestrial globe, based on 'Captain Cook and Discoveries Made by Him', dated 1816, together with one Celestial globe, displaying 35,000 stars and constellations by Mr. Calren of the Royal Society. Early 19th Century, measuring H. 36" x 18".
