Appliqued Cotton President's Wreath Quilt, America, late 19th century, pieced and appliqued quilt with red, green, and yellow printed cotton on a white ground, composed of nine blocks appliqued with wreaths of four red flowers having reverse appliqued yellow centers and twelve buds and green leaves, enclosed in an undulating budding vine border, with feather, diamond, and outline quilting stitches, white cotton backing, (minor toning, scattered light stains), 86 x 86 in.
