Narcisse-Virgil Diaz de la Peña (French, 1807-1876) Landscape at Dusk Signed "Diaz. " l.l., inscribed "Washington/E..." in pencil in a later hand on the reverse. Oil on panel, 6 1/8 x 5 5/8 in. (15.6 x 14.3 cm), framed. Condition: Craquelure, surface grime. Provenance: Acquired by Colonel John H. Magruder, III, USMC; by family descent to the present owner. N.B.
