Four Opaque-twist Stem Glasses, England, 1760-70, a sweetmeat glass with double ogee bowl on single-series multi-spiral stem with single knop and molded foot, ht. 3; a wineglass with molded round funnel bowl on single-series multi-spiral stem with central knop and conical foot, ht. 5 3/4, a wine glass with waisted bell bowl on single-series multi-ply corkscrew stem with two knops and conical foot, ht. 5 7/8, and ale glass with round funnel bowl on a double-series stem with a band of multi-ply tape outside a pair of heavy thread corkscrews and single knop, on a conical foot, ht. 7 1/4 in. Waisted bell bowl may have ground down rim. Ale glass with rough area to rim. All with light usage wear.
