Four Baluster-stem Glasses, England, c. 1740, each foot with folded rim, two wineglasses: one with round funnel bowl on stem with shoulder and center knops, and conical foot, ht. 5 7/8, one with bell bowl with solid base on stem with long tear and inverse acorn basal knop on domed foot, ht. 6 1/8; and two cordials: one with round funnel bowl on stem with annular knop, inverted baluster knop, and basal knop on conical foot, ht. 5 7/8, and one with a bell bowl with solid base on a cushioned basal knop and domed foot, ht. 5 1/8 in. Cordial with bell bowl with possible repair at shoulder. Each with light usage wear.
