Polychrome Painted Wood and Metal Indian Figure Whirligig, America, probably second quarter 20th century, composed of an Indian figure atop a propeller with four paddles, each painted with a cartoon figure of a little boy or an older figure, all with wide-eye surprised expressions, connected to a cast iron, found metal, and wood make-shift gear with a small wooden sign attached to the side reading "DO NOT TOUCH"; the gear issuing a large red-painted plywood tail to catch the wind with applied plywood cutout and painted dog figures, including a black painted metal stand, (wear, small losses, repairs), total ht. 60, wd. 20 1/2, lg. 31 in.
