Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Tall Case Clock, England, late 18th century, the hood with pagoda top centering an eglomise panel flanked by plinths topped by finials above the arched cornice molding and glazed tombstone door opening to a silvered engraved brass dial with applied arch engraved "Simon Willard, Grafton", above the ploychrome moon phase indicator and chapter ring, seconds hand and calendar aperture and brass eight day weight-driven movement, bordered by case spandrels, all flanked by freestanding reeded brass stop-fluted columns on waist with molded tombstone door flanked by reeded brass stop-fluted quarter columns on molded base with bracket feet, old refinish, (imperfections, possibly case and movement of different origin), ht. 88 1/2 in.
