Manner of the Master of the Female Half-Lengths (Flemish, fl. 1500-1532) Annunciation Indistinctly inscribed on the reverse and on the frame. Oil on lunette-shaped panel, 7 1/2 x 5 3/8 in. (19.0 x 13.7 cm), in a later, elaborately carved and gilded frame. Condition: Losses, retouch. Provenance: A private Rhode Island collection. N.B. The composition is closely related to the left panel of a triptych by this master, in the collection of the Prado, Madrid.
