Transfer-decorated Liverpool Jug with Romantic Pastoral Scenes, England, early 19th century, one side depicting Cupid persuading a lady against a gentleman's advances, the reverse depicting a lady and gentleman and two young ladies in a landscape with a monument topped with billing birds, in oval reserves surrounded with floral garlands, with a bowknot and grapevines depicted beneath the spout, (hairline across the base), ht. 9 1/4 in.
