Transfer Decorated Liverpool Jug, England, early 19th century, black transfer decoration, one side of the jug with a bust of Washington and figures of Liberty and Justice surrounded by a chain of fifteen States, the reverse showing "The Farmer's Arms," the name "Benjamin Larrabee" inscribed in a wreath of flowers below the spout, ht. 11 in. Note: This jug, according to the consignor, belonged to the sea captain who is the subject of lot 140. The jug is in very good condition, no cracks, chips, or repairs.
