Black Transfer Decorated Liverpool Jug, England, early 19th century, one side titled "The Govener of Europe Stoped (sic) in His Carreer. " depicting a map with a caricature of Napoleon Bonaparte standing with one foot on Germany, the other foot, having been placed on England, has been cut off by John Bull, the reverse titled "John Bull Peppering Buonaparte in the Front and Rear."; showing John Bull ready to pummel Napoleon in the face at the same time kicking him in the rear, with distant gallows scene, inscribed "The End of Boney;" with a maroon striped rim, (repaired cracks), ht. 8 3/8 in.
