Max Ernst, illustrator (German, 1891-1976) Mr. Knife, Miss Fork by René Crevel, published by Le Soleil Noir, Paris, 1931, from the edition of 200, containing nineteen photograms (Leppien, 13). Identified on the title page, further identified and numbered "71" in ink on the colophon. Sheet sizes 7 x 4 1/2 in. (17.7 x 11.3 cm), embossed cloth binding with slip cover (wear/losses). Condition: Binding loose, subtle toning to pages. There is minor wear to the binding; more wear to the slipcase. The binding is slightly loose.
