Oil on canvas, 30 x 25 in. (76.2 x 63.5 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, craquelure, frame abrasions. Provenance: A New England estate. Inscribed in ink on the stretcher "...Cuthbertson/...Black Velvet Dress/..." followed by a possible date or monogram.
