George III Silver Cup, London, 1776, maker likely Jacob Marsh, cylindrical, with ribbed waist band, two cast handles, and domed trumpet foot, ht. 5 7/8 in., approx. 11 troy oz. removal of engraving to one side, with resultant light metal tear approx. 1/4" (engraving still a little visible). multiple repairs: to bending at rim, to possible hole at waist band, to join of handles to body, and to foot rim. end of of handle pushed into body slightly.
