George III Silver Cup, London, 1775, Charles Wright, maker, ovoid, with beaded serpentine handles, on trumpet foot, chased and embossed with diagonal beaded and reeded flutes, and accented with leaves, ht. 6 5/8, with associated and similarly chased and embossed lid hallmarked London, 1776, William Grundy, maker, ht. with lid 10 in., approx. 21 troy oz. total. cup with a let-in roundel at rim on each side (dia. approx. 1 3/8 in.). chasing and embossing possibly later. some wear to surface decoration. marks good.
