Massachusetts Independent Corps of Cadets Militia Uniform, c. late 19th century, a cap by BENT & BUSH with a militia cap plate, a blue fatigue blouse with blue chevrons near the cuff, a pair of sky blue trousers with a white welt in the side-seam, a sky blue overcoat with cape, and a white tunic with blue cuffs, collar, and shoulder straps. Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College. Note: These were worn by Ralph S. Bartlett while a member of the company.
