Six Bird Painting Leaves, China, 19th century, in the manner of Liao Fuzhi (dates unknown), depicting various birds in natural settings, including geese, chickens, finches, and swallows, using boneless technique, two with a seal reading "Liao Fuzhi" and four with two seals reading "Liao Fuzhi" and "Xipei," color on silk, backed with paper, each leaf 11 3/4 x 12 1/4 in. Provenance: From the estate of Kai Suhr, who supplied Chiang-Kai-shek's army in China between the years of 1938-1939.
