Scroll painting on silk depicting two small white and blue feathered bird with black head and red eye perched in branch amid a lush tree with green leaves and pink lychee fruit. Black calligraphic writing at middle left above red seal mark (according to text: Song Dynasty--13th century (1295-1297). Scroll measures approximately 97.5" x 27.5". Scroll handle measures approximate length 31.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. T. Elder Pearce in Ellijay, Georgia.
