This costume change was worn by the character Jack Bauer portrayed by Kiefer Sutherland at the beginning of the sixth season of the iconic television series 24 . The outfit consists of a gray two-piece Chinese prison uniform. The garments are constructed of washed raw silk and were hand distressed with applied faux bloodstains as seen in the series. Sutherland wore this costume change in Day 6: 6:00am – 7:00am (Season 6, Episode 1) during the sequence where Bauer is released into the custody of the United States government after surviving two years of torture in a Chinese prison following the dramatic conclusion of Season 5. Far from being freed, however, Bauer soon learns that he is to be used as part of a trade the U.S. Government intends to make with a group of Islamic terrorists in order to locate Hamri Al-Assad (Alexander Siddig) who they believe is behind a recent spate of domestic bombings.
