The outfit consists of a light pink silk shirt with ruffle trim around the neck and cuffs, green cotton Theory pants, stone beaded heart necklace, and a light pink purse with multi-colored patches and tassel trim. The actress first appeared wearing this costume change in, Day 2: 8:00am – 9:00am (Season 2, Episode 1) and continued to wear it for the next twelve episodes up until Day 2: 8:00pm – 9:00pm. In the plot line for Season 2, a year has passed since Kim’s mother was killed, and she has begun working as a nanny for a family headed by an abusive father. When the man injures his young daughter and she is admitted to a hospital, he tells the authorities that Kim is responsible. After kidnapping the girl from the hospital, Kim and her boyfriend are then pursued by police in the father’s car and are later arrested when the body of the girl’s mother is discovered in the trunk of the vehicle. Cuthbert also appears wearing this costume change in the book 24: Behind The Scenes .
