Walnut Tall Case Clock, Daniel Balch, Newbury, Massachusetts, 1756, the molded with molded sarcophagus cornice and brass ball finials, above the tombstone door and freestanding columns flanking the brass dial with gilt spandrels, seconds hand, calendar aperture, silvered chapter ring, and silvered boss in the arch engraved "Dan. Balch Newbury," and further engraved "1756" above the chapter ring, the waist with door on a flat molded base, old refinish, original finials, (minor restoration), ht. 87 1/4 in. including finial.
