Martin Cheney Tavern Wall Clock, Windsor, Vermont, c. 1805, mahogany case with ebonized turned wooden bezel over the 16-in. painted iron roman numeral dial marked "M. Cheney/Windsor Vermont," lower door with glazed pendulum aperture, eight-day time only movement powered by an iron weight and regulated by a pendulum, ht. 33 in. Estimate $1,500-2,500 Bezel needs hinge screws. Hands appear to be replacements.
