Federal Mahogany Inlaid Eglomise Banjo Timepiece, Curtis and Dunning, probably Concord, Massachusetts, c. 1815, the eagle and ball finial above a mahogany crossbanded case with brass bezel and printed paper dial reading "warranted by Curtis and Dunning" enclosing an eight-day weight-driven movement, the throat glass showing grape vines, the lower table showing a mother and child reading on a recamier, both framed by crossbanding flanked by brass side arms, (imperfections), ht. 35 1/4 in.
