Saturday Evening Girls Pottery Decorated bowl and a plate Boston, Massachusetts, early 20th century Iris decorated bowl with white rim and a border of blue iris with green blades on brown background all incised in a black outline, interior and exterior of the bowl glazed in blue, marked S. E.G., dated 10-12 with stylized initials possibly S. over G, rim damage; and a lotus decorated plate with a white rim and a band of lotus incised and outlined in black on a blue ground, marked S.E.G., dated 8-14 and initialed AM, nick at rim, dia. 6 1/2, 7 1/4 in.
