Artist Designed 18kt Gold and Enamel Gorget, Janiye, "Charles River View: Autumn", depicting a scene of the esplanade and bridge looking toward Kenmore Square and Cambridge, suspended from a silk macrame cord and completed by an enamel clasp, lg. 15 in., by Miye Matsukata, signed and dated MM '74, boxed, with copy of original receipt, (enamel repair). Together with report from MFA Conservation Laboratory. Losses to enamel repaired by MFA, as well as some gold and silver wire. Complete record of restoration included with lot.
