W. R. Case & Sons Cutlery (American, 1889- ). A limited edition collection of Case XX Whittler knives circa 1987 with black jigged bone handles and stainless steel blades. Set comprises of a split-back Whittler knife with three blades (style #B6308); a half Whittler knife with two blades (style B6208); and a jack knife with one blade (style B6108). Each knife measures approximately 3.5" long closed and is marked on tang "Case XX, SS, USA". Knives are housed in a black plastic rectangular box with hinged lid and grey felt molded interior base and ivory satin lining on lid with illustration depicting a single man on a chair on lake front porch whittling a duck decoy with dog by his side. Box measures approximately 1 1/8" tall x 9" wide x 6" deep and is decorated on lid with text in gold "1987 Limited Edition Whittler Set by Case".
