Chippendale Walnut Carved Side Chair, probably Massachusetts, circa 1780, the serpentine fan-carved crest rail with scrolled terminals above a pierced vasiform splat and raked chamfered stiles, the upholstered slip seat on frontal cabriole legs ending in pad feet joined to the rear chamfered legs by block and vase and ring turned stretchers, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 36, seat ht. 16 1/2 in.
