Federal Mahogany Inlaid Desk, Massachusetts or New Hampshire, c. 1805-15, the top section with flat cornice and three short drawers above two hinged doors with inlaid stringing and crossbanding and flanking simulated pilasters opening to three drawers and valanced compartments on projecting base with fold-out writing surface on four cockbeaded graduated drawers, all on inlaid valanced skirt joining flaring French feet, the brasses appear original, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 55, wd. 40, dp. 19 in.
