(American, 1847-1899) Country Landscape with Cattle and Sheep oil on canvas signed Baird (lower right) 13 x 18 inches. Provenance: Guarisco Galler Ltd., Washington, DC, April 7, 1998. The work is in stable condition and have been relined; Under UV, evidence of retouch to left half of canvas (also apparent in sky without UV) and overall varnish; minor craquelure throughout. Framed: 21 x 26 inches.
