A bible used by Elvis Presley while he was a patient at Baptist Memorial Hospital in April 1977. The brown faux leather bible is stamped on the cover “Holy Bible/ Placed by The Gideons.” Presley read this bible during his stay and asked Marian Cocke, his personal nurse, to read him passages. Cocke kept the bible after Presley was discharged. Accompanied by a laid in Baptist Memorial Hospital pamphlet; a letter of authenticity from Stephen Shutts; a photograph of Cocke; and a note Cocke wrote when she gave the bible to the former owner. 5 1/2 by 8 inches Categories: Elvis Presley
