An Elvis Presley used lyric sheet for the song “Promised Land. ” The single-sided sheet has a paragraph crossed out. In the accompanying certificate of authenticity from Ed Bonja, Presley’s tour manager and assistant to Col. Parker, he explains that this lyric sheet was among others that were kept in Presley’s lyric book master binder. It was Bonja’s job to re-alphabetize the lyric sheets and replace damaged sheets.
