A silver tone medallion presented to Pelé in 1970 by the Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama [Vasco da Gama Rowing Club] honoring his Jules Rimet trophy win with the Brazil national football team at the 1970 FIFA World Cup. The front of the medallion features a portrait of Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama with boat oars on either side along with the CR Vasco da Gama emblem at the bottom. The lettering at the top reads "Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama." The back of the medallion features the words "1970 Campeão de Mar e Terra" [Champion of Sea and Land] with low relief images of a football figure, a figure in a row boat, and the Jules Rimet trophy. Surrounding the back of the medallion are the words "Vasco da Gama com o Brasil" [Vasco da Gama with Brazil] and "Ano Da Copa Jules Rimet" [The Jules Rimet Cup Year].
