A medal presented to Pelé from his former Brazilian team Santos FC after the team won the Copa Libertadores de América tournament in 2011. It is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world and the most prestigious club competition in Latin American football. Pelé led Santos FC to victory in the tournament twice, in 1962 and 1963, and the team accomplished the feat again in 2011.
