American, early 21st century. Group of two hand blown art glass studio vases comprising a tall cased trumpet form vase with white interior and flared mouth, the exterior with rainbow of colors splashed over with mica inclusions on a turned black amethyst vase signed and dated by George Averbeck for Fire on the Mountain Gallery, 2004; the other a black amethyst glass vase with shaped gold enamel mouth, the cased body decorated in colorful metallic fused glass and resting on an applied circular colorless glass. The pontil initialed by the artist, illegible. Approximate height of tall vase 11.75", base diameter 3.75". Approximate height of smaller vase 7.75", base diameter 3.3".
