A lapel pin and plaque presented to Pelé on May 15, 2003, by the Kingdom of Denmark and the Bikuben Foundation upon his appointment as a Hans Christian Andersen Ambassador. The appointment was made with the intention that Pelé would be an important participant in the Danish commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Hans Christian Andersen in 2005.
