A medal presented to Pelé in the 1970s for "Noteworthy Achievement/ Soccer" by the Citizens Savings Athletic Foundation. The medal features a low relief male athlete figure on the front with the words "Citizens Savings Athletic Foundation" and "Founded 1936." The back of the medal features the words "Victory is a Worthy Result For Which to Strive Fairly" around the back edge, with the words "Awarded To/ Pele/ In Recognition of/ Noteworthy Achievement/ Soccer" appearing in the back center. The Helms Athletic Foundation was formed in 1936 in Los Angeles, California. The foundation was renamed the Citizens Savings Athletic Foundation from 1973 to 1982.
