A silver tone plaque presented to "Rei Pelé" [King Pelé] on October 23, 1968, by the Associação de Veteranos de Futebol do Rio Grande do Sul [Association of Football Veterans of Rio Grande do Sul], with the association's "Eterno Abraço" [eternal embrace]. On October 23, 1968, Pelé's Santos FC team defeated Internacional FC of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, 3-1, in the Roberto Gomes Pedrosa Tournament. Played in the Estádio Olímpico in Porto Alegre, Pelé scored one goal in the match.
