“Cubiste” Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 411527, case No. 256142. Made in 1929. Very fine and rare, faceted hexagonal, platinum Art Deco gentleman's wristwatch with a white gold Vacheron & Constantin buckle. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Two-body, solid, brushed, band with engraved scrolling and hinged and engraved case back. Matte silverwith applied white gold “cubiste” numerals. Polished steel "Breguet" hands. Notes This model, with its sharp geometrical lines typical of the Art Deco period, reflects the influence cubism had on on industrial design. Rare, beautiful and probably unique, this watch is one of the milestones in Vacheron Constantin’s production.
