Jacob Maentel(American, 1763-1863) - Watercolor on paper interior scene depicting a woman seated at a table in a decorated windsor armchair, wearing a blue dress and lace bonnet, and holding a book in one hand and eye glasses in the other, the room setting with Chippendale mirror hanging on the wall and bold red, blue, and green striped floor, 11 1/2" x 7 1/2", in a bold tiger maple frame.
