Very fine and rare, small, quarter repeating 18K gold hunting cased pocket watch with ruby duplex escapement. Four-body, “bassine”, by Alfred Stram (AS), covers, band and bezels chased and engraved with rococo floral and foliate decoration, front with vacant cartouche. Hinged gold cuvette. Silver with applied gold decoration, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and outermost applied gold oak leaf pattern, center with applied gold rosette surrounded by stylized foliate engraving with applied gold laurel-leaf frame, subsidiary seconds, engraved central field with applied gold basket of flowers. Blued steel Breguet hands.
