“The Harp” Swiss. Made circa 1810. Fine and rare, 18K gold and paste-set watch in the form of an ancient Greek harp with concealed dial. To be sold without reserve Two-body, harp-form, domed base engraved with stylized flowers, upper section with applied gold and paste-set flower rosette, curved arm with ram’s head terminal, six “strings”. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel “Breguet” hands. 24 mm., gilt full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge ecapement with micrometric potence adjustment, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, continental cock, silver regulation dial.
