To be sold without reserve Outer: the back with repoussé rococo garden, inner: twobody, "bassine", plain, polished. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic minute ring. Blued steel lozenge hands. 34 mm, hinged gilt brass full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring and gilt brass English type cock pierced and engraved with foliage, regulation disc. Movement signed. Inner case stamped AG. Diam. 47 mm. Property of a Swiss Gentleman Notes Johann Nikolaus Delle Johann Nikolaus Delle, Augsburg and Dantzig Master 1732, died 1769. Established on his own account May 10, 1733, following his marriage to the widow of the clockmaker Joseph Anton Schöner, son of Christoph Schöner of Augsburg.
