“Caravelle” ImHof, Swiss, No. 12329. Made circa 1960. Fine, rectangular, gilt brass and painted on enamel desk timepiece. Brass with swinging decorated door panels. Rectangular, enamel, decorated with the Prince and Princess celebrating the return of a ship, over-applied ring with dart and roman numerals. White “fleur de lys” hands. 8-day, nickel, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating flat balance spring, rack regulator. Dial and movement signed. Dim. height 12.5 cm., width 11.7 cm., depth 4.7 cm.
