H. R. Ekegren, Geneva, No. 87801. Made by E. Koehn for J.E. Caldwell & Co, Philadelphia, circa 1920. Very fine, keyless, 18K yellow gold pocket watch. Four-body, “bassine”, solid, polished, gold hinged cuvette with inscription. Off-white with painted black Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary sunk seconds dial. Blued steel “Breguet” hands. Cal. 16 1/2’’’, (37.5 MM), nickel, 21 jewels made from blue sapphire (including the two pallet stones), straightline calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed Diam. 46 mm. Thickness 10 mm.
