"Master Clock with Alarm Setting" Léon Hatot, Fabricants, Paris, (ATO), No. 200942. Made circa 1950. Fine, electric “master” precision wall clock with center seconds, half-second pendulum and mechanism for transmitting a daily alarm signal. Rectangular, grey painted body, black painted bezel, slave connections on the top. Annular, two-tone, matte silvered chapter ring with black Art Deco numerals, outer minute and seconds track. White “baton” hour and minute hands, red center seconds hand. Half-second electromagnetic pendulum activating the electrical contacts, micrometer adjustment, coil and Foucault regulator, additional mechanism for alarm setting with 24-hour day and night dial, adjustable pin, weekday setting dial. Movement signed. Dim. 41 x 22 x 8.5 cm. Property of a French Gentleman
