“Silver Curved” Longines, No. 11372148, case No. 3074732. Made in the 1940s. Very fine and elegant, rectangular curved, sterling silver wristwatch. Two-body, polished, hinged case back, wire lugs, “bombé” crystal. Matte silver with painted radial Arabic numerals. Blued steel “feuille” hands. Cal. 23 Z, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, blued steel flat balance spring. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Dim. 25 x 39 mm. Thickness 10 mm.
